Intake
Intake
The patient actually enters the facility and completes administrative processes. At this point that staff makes sure that the patient is not bringing any forbidden items. Which include such as drugs or weapons etc. into the facility. Intake is necessary to get each patient started off on the right foot so that their treatment is as effective as possible for their needs. It is also important to protect the safety and sobriety of all patients and staff.
The length of treatment depends on factors such as:
- The severity of the addiction.
- Existence of any co-occurring mental health conditions.
- Whether the person has been through a rehab programme before.
We offer family programs, in which members of the patient’s family participate in family counseling and activities. This provides the opportunity to mend trust and identification of dysfunctional relationships or dynamics that could trigger a relapse. Families can help encourage and support their loved one by being actively involved in their recovery.
